Gogoro IT Infra team is looking for a system engineer who will be managing the company on-premise systems and network (including but not limited to DCs/Offices/Branches/Stores). The qualified candidate must be a team player but also can work independently. In this team, you will deploy projects with multiple teams, different vendors, remote colleagues from multiple offices, and global users. As the IT Infra system Engineer, you need to design/administer the infra architecture and oversee the operation. With Above, you will mainly focus on network management with a proportional workload on system admin. The network engineer plays a key role to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation for the on-premise networks (including Wi-Fi, LAN, WAN, VPN, etc.). A successful candidate MUST demonstrate his/her knowledge/experience of network administration and management. Responsibilities ● Designing and troubleshooting the company network services will be the main responsibility. It will include but not limit to the Wireless, LAN, WAN, Firewall, MPLS, SDWAN, VPN, etc.). ● Administer and improve network performance. Provide adequate network support if needed. ● Manage network security operation, including ACL setup, firewall rules deployment, VPN configuration, etc. ● Co-work with the other system engineers to oversee all aspects of the data center critical infrastructure. ● Provide technical guidance and mentoring to the team members in terms of network operation. Assist in developing documentation for new infrastructure solutions. Qualifications Minimum ● Possess comprehensive knowledge of computer network management. ● At least 2 years of working/hands-on experience in firewall, router, and switch management. ● Understand Windows server management. ● Own a scripting skill, any of the PowerShell, Bash, or Python is preferred. Preferred qualification ● CCNA certified, equivalent or above is a plus. ● Managing MPLS network experience is a plus. ● Moderate English communication ability is highly preferred.
