Department Overview
Vision |Evolve swarm autonomy autonomous behaviors and consensus orchestration for mobile robots and vehicles to bring human beings' lives better.
Mission |Develop autonomous swarm mobile robot (SMR) and swarm agent solutions for optimized mobile platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop the navigation stack and improve it with team members.
- Develop robot perception function to enhance the capability of robot to adapt various use cases.
- Familiar with robotic system architecture from hardware (e.g. Lidar, depth-camera, IMU) to software.
- Experience implementing one or more of the following on real hardware: localization and mapping (SLAM); Sensor fusion odometry (e.g. EKF); robot control and navigation (local trajectory planning and execution); object detection and tracking.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, agile development, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Strong communication skills, ability to teamwork.
- Self-motivated and able to solve problems independently
- Working simultaneously on multiple projects, in a team or independently with little
to no oversight
- Desire to work as part of a team: the overall success of the group is more important
than your individual success.
- Comfortable working in the less formal context of a startup business.
