Interested in building in the web3 space, however don't know what to build? We have a guide for you! Check out the following for recommendations on what to build, which endpoints are in many instances used when constructing these use cases, and some sample apps that have already been built around those ideas.

At BUIDLCON, we hope the RSS3 API will be the stepstone for you to join the web3 trailblazers. RSS3 is an open source and permissionless platform that invite people to join and connect in a decentralized way. We believe decentralized information distribution and sharing is the core value of Web3, instead of just financializing everything on the internet.

Our developer community has unique skills, experiences, and perspectives that can fill gaps, solve problems, and seed innovations. We encourage you to build tools and products that make the network better, healthier, and extend the public dialogue. Here we offer some ideas that might help you have some idea of what to build.

Encourage Creation and Personal Expression

RSS3 is a web feed protocol that connects the dots. We are excited to see applications or tool kits that encourages every dot to be creative and feel free of personal expression on a decentralized web.

Analyze What's Happening on Web3

The RSS3 protocol aggregates data from different chains and communities into a simple and unified data format; developers can build data visualization tools or analytic insights based on these rich data resources, tracing the current Web3 social or market trend on different landscapes. DAOs and communities can also use RSS3 to build a community tool, displaying Web3 activities of members, and build a better sense of community.

Curate Content, Addresses, and Feed sources

Developers could build tools and applications for end-users to track valuable news sources on their own; while non-tech builders could also contribute by curating and recommending different lists of interesting contents, wallet addresses, and feed sources based on various topics.

Improve the User and Developer Experience

As new communities grow and convene in the web3 space, we like to see developers build a more comfortable or localized user experience to meet the unique needs of different communities. We hope RSS3 to be the decentralized information stream that brings people together, regardless of their language, timezone, cultural differences, or other localized needs. We also encourage builders to build SDKs or other tools to make developing on this platform even more comfortable.
