Warriors coach Steve Kerr joined 95.7 The Game’s “Damon & Ratto” Tuesday live from a patio with his family in Boston (sorry, coach!) to preview Game 3 of the NBA Finals. Host Damon Bruce also asked Kerr if Steph Curry gets overlooked at times because he’s 6-foot-3, 190 pounds. There was a lot of chatter entering this series surrounding Curry’s bid to get his first NBA Finals MVP, and he has averaged 31.5 points in the first two games.

“When you look at the history of the league, you think of guys who dominated Finals games,” Kerr said. “You think of Magic, Bird and Kareem, Jordan, LeBron, Kobe. These guys are all monsters physically. Steph looks like a normal guy walking down the street. It’s so rare to ever see someone of that stature dominating games.
“Steph dominates games differently. He doesn’t do it physically by getting to the line all the time. He does it with skill and he does it in ways that people don’t recognize. When he comes off of a screen and people follow him to the logo at half court, then he passes the ball and it gets someone open for a wide-open three, nobody recognizes that it’s Steph who made the play. I think that’s part of it. He just doesn’t recognized for his immense skill. Just his lack of physical dominance I guess makes people question whether he’s really dominating or not.”
