CCS (CO2 Storage): Environmental Benefits, Risk and Public Perception

CCS (Carbon capture and storage) has become a mature technology internationally and is considered one of the vital methods for carbon-negative solutions. However, the safety before and after injection has always been a concern for the general public. Therefore, in this webinar, three highly experienced experts in this field have been invited to share their expertise, ranging from social communication, numerical simulation, to safety assessment. This aims to help more people understand the rigorous approach to this technology in scientific and technological aspects.

碳捕獲與封存是國際公認最有效的減碳技術方案之一。臺灣具有良好的二氧化碳地質封存條件，若能妥善利用，足可提供我國至 2100 年之減碳需求 —— 然而我國在 CCS 的推動與執行上仍有許多挑戰 —— Future Earth Taipei 數位世代工作小組特別邀請專家學者就環境效益、風險和公眾認知等角度切入探討此議題，歡迎準時上線加入我們的交流與討論！
