According to Brian Windhorst, the Utah Jazz will be willing to sell of some of their players, especially those with an expiring contract. I recorded the section about the Jazz in the tweet below, but you can listen to the podcast here.

Windhorst goes on to mention Kelly Olynyk which makes sense since he’s an expiring contract and is playing very well. Olynyk is also ahead of Taylor Hendricks on the depth chart and the Jazz would likely want to make a move to get Hendricks more time.

Olynyk is having a great season for the Jazz where he’s shooting 43% from three for the season and is dishing out 4.5 assists per game. He’s only averaging 8.2 points and 5.1 rebounds but that is mostly because he’s coming off the bench and has been a big part of helping the Jazz offense this season. A team out there looking for a piece that ads shooting, passing, and rebounding would be smart to take a look at Olynyk.

Marc Spears throws out Lauri Markkanen’s name but Windhorst responds that the Jazz are not likely to trade Markkanen. It sounds like it’s not impossible, but unlikely.
