Child Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Nudity

Ads Must Comply with the Community Standard on Child Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Nudity.
Ads must not contain content that sexually exploits or endangers children. When we become aware of apparent child exploitation, we report it to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), in compliance with applicable law.

Overview

This policy provides specific additional protections beyond what is prohibited in the Community Standard on Child Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Nudity. Ads must also comply with our Adult Content Advertising Standard.

Guidelines

In addition to the requirements in our Community Standards, Ads can’t:

  • Contain any nudity, even that which is allowed in the Community Standards
  • Depict real or non-real non-sexual child abuse (even in instances where we place a warning or sensitivity screen under the Community Standards), unless the imagery is from real-world art, cartoons, movies, or video games

Enforcement

We have the same policies around the world, for everyone on Facebook.
