Johnson introduces new flagship Johnson 115 at FLIBS 2018

Taiwanese yacht builder Johnson Yachts has announced the introduction of a new 35.5-metre tri-deck flagship - the Johnson 115 at FLIBS 2018.The new superyacht will feature an exterior design from the studios of Dixon Yacht Design. Dixon has developed a plumb bow onboard the 115 which brings the volume of the yacht forward. All three decks of the superyacht contain windows inlaid with glazing and protected by bulwarks. To the aft of the new yacht lies a transom garage with room for a 5.5-metre tender and a swim platform which can stow another.  Design Unlimited was tasked with designing the interiors, which include materials in soft neutral tones paired with light woods throughout the yacht. The general arrangement calls for either five or six staterooms, four (or five) of which are to be located on the lower deck. The main deck master suite on the Johnson 115 includes an en-suite bathroom with a window and is both full beam and forward-facing. In addition to the main deck saloon and dining area, the Johnson 115 includes an upper deck enclosed sky lounge - the perfect spot to chill out while underway.  As with all Johnson yachts, the interior spaces onboard are able to be customised to the tastes of the owner.Johnson Yachts has previously hinted at the new flagship and has confirmed that the yard has one 115 currently under construction at their facilities in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
