Female backpackers were forced to perform sex acts in exchange for more hours to afford to pay their bills and accommodation.
A group of eight Taiwanese women on the 457 visa were working at a fruit picking farm in the Riverland region of South Australia.
Their boss, who was also their landlord, provided them with a three bedroom house for $350 a week, but was paying them $16 an hour, according to the United Workers Union report.
The women would pay $120 each a week in rent, $20 a week for better internet, and $25 a week to borrow a car.

In order to afford the additional costs, their boss would expected them to 'perform sexual favours to get more hours', also known as 'debt bondage'.
'They were expected to, if they wanted to get to work, so they could afford to pay for all these other things, perform sexual favours to get more hours,' the United Workers Union report read.
'And those women were in that environment for quite some time before they were able to speak up, for six months.'
The women then went to their employer's boss and threatened to go to the media if he wasn't removed as a contractor.
They also requested alternate housing as well as other transport to do their job.
The women have since left the country.
